How the HMTA on-line Piano Festival works...
Please plan to arrive on time for your hour's block and stay for the duration—there is much to be learned by listening to other players and the adjudicator's comments on their performances as well as our own. Enjoy the festival!
At the beginning of their performance blocks, festival participants will join the Zoom meeting, then be transferred into the performance breakout room. To avoid interruptions, those who arrive late will wait in the main session until a performance has been finished.

The HMTA Festival is an opportunity for students to put their performance skills to the test! Participants may play or sing a solo, with piano accompaniment if needed, or an ensemble selection before an audience of teachers, students, parents and friends.
Critique by an adjudicator. The performance is critiqued by an adjudicator–an experienced professional musician–who gives valuable instruction, tips and encouragement to improve future performances. Students of HMTA–member teachers are invited to participate. Please join us at the Festival!
